The purpose of Now Start Community Foundation, for which the corporation is organized, shall be exclusively charitable and educational, including but not limited to educational programs, recreational programs, health information, and life skills training for children, youth, and adults. Being community-minded and desiring to be philanthropic in 2023, Now Start Community Foundation (NSCF) was launched as a non-profit organization dedicated to communicating, educating, and providing high-quality healthcare to underserved communities.

The major endeavor the foundation is focusing on currently is the iCovenant Care Clinic (iC3), a free clinic in Northeast San Antonio. In response to a growing and critical demand, iC3 will host periodic health and wellness education forums to close the gap with health disparities and improve health literacy in the community. It also provides sustainable mental health counseling and therapy which is in critical demand in the city of San Antonio and surrounding areas to maintain productive families.

NSCF has a phased strategic plan committed to transitioning iC3 from a voluntary cadre to a full-time staff clinic over the next 18-36 months. This fixed facility will operate 6 days a week and support access to high-quality, compassionate care in Bexar County. NSCF plans to host fundraisers, accept financial donations—both public and private—from businesses and community leaders, and partner with local organizations to raise funds to sustain this endeavor. This funding will support laboratory studies, radiology imaging modalities, and pharmacy prescriptions for those individuals without health insurance and limited resources.
